I am unfortunate that my only 3 cinnamon cock birds are also split for ino.
With my cinnamon pied pair I will also get ino cinnamon pieds, am I correct in assuming they will visually appear as normal cinn ino with the pied being hidden or am I wrong?

Hi mike, yes pastel and turquoise are the same just depends on who your talking to really. They can appear different from bird to bird doesn't really matter about country too much as you can have two from the same nest that will look a little different.

Yeh it could be but it certainly looks alot more like a dark green than the violet green, the edged bird is seperate and I will be breeding it with a violet next season.

It's not just a turqblue, I have a normal turqblue hen, and a DF turqblue cock, and you can really tell the difference, this one is a lot lighter than the other two. Where the others are blue this one is a light blue/ aqua colour, and the green is more of a minty green. But yes the tail is very dark...

I have a couple of updated photos, one of the cocks has turned out looking more like an ino cinnamon as it has the clear nails, body is goldy yellow with yellow head but it has blue in its tail? One looks like a darker cinnamon and the other still has both the green/yellow mixed wash across the body...

I am having a bit of trouble with one of my pairs, I noticed when they were in the aviary that the seed wasn't being eaten, I have brought them inside to worm them and the seed in the little cage hasn't been touched. Any suggestions on how to encourage them to eat a little more?

We have decided to test breed them to see what traits they are carrying, but it's still hard without having a base to go from, we are going off greencinn/ino but if anyone has a different opinion of what it may be then it would be much appreciated.

When looking at the actual bird it is easily visible that it isn't a lacewing.

It looks similar to the dilute you put up, but there are the subtle differences such as the flight feathers. The green doesn't standout at as much in the IRN in the original photo I posted either, and the head is a lighter yellow but that could just be due to the different photo and camera settings ...

I can guarantee it isn't a pallid, the blues definitely show that it isnt a pallid, i cant upload a photo of them as we only took the green ones. I am thinking it is a dilute, one of them has light blue in its tail feathers any idea on that?
