Don’t give up on him. IRN’s can be very aggressive and territorial. Mine attacks my dad. IRN’s are a very hard bird to keep at times. Do you let him out of the cage? Does he bite your hands? Is he new?

My IRN Rascal, who passed away started bluffing at a year old and it never ended, lol. :wink: Chiquita is going threw this now and she is 7 months old. It will probably last two to three months.

I think the bluffing lasts three months, depending on how you handle it.

I think you need to take her to the vets to get checked out. It sounds like she needs a really good check up and you should absolutely not be breeding her at this time.

The cat scratch can cause a wide range of heath problems. Including bacterial infection, get that birdie to the vets.
