Re: Weaning Indian Ringneck
it looks that the baby start his weaning stage, but he is young for this.
Try to give him 1 meal at the night, 2-3 hours after sleep,
normally in the middle of his sleep he accept the feeding.
Does the baby lives in a nest or something similar box or lives in a cage?

Re: Weaning Indian Ringneck
4 times in a day is ok at this time
your baby must be around 120 gr, is he?
you must give him around 12-13 ml per meal.
the 10-12% of his weight.

hi
he looks like a male!
probably you must wait until the next molting to see the rose ring and the white area bellow the beak, a year more.
if you hurry you can send feathers for dna sexing or take him to a vet for a surgical sexing

if he hasnt any problem with his nails, it probably is psychomatic.
are you sure if he is feeding correctly (vitamins-calsium)?
try to keep him, as much you can busy, with new toys (shreding),foragings, company with you, etc

This is only a worry with peanuts in the shell. It's the shell that can have the 'mold'. the peanuts are growning in the ground so their shells curry a lot of bad microorganisms, like molds, coliforms, escherichia coli, bacilus cereus, listeria monocytogenes and many more, but it needs many of them...

Re: peanuts?
peanuts are ok but are rich in fat so you must give only few of them in a day.
Also be careful because it is very common the present of aflatoxins and aspergilus sp. in peanuts and these are very dangerous.
open and check all the peanuts and use only these are fine without any bad spots or signs
