Returned to the site with a new IRN and Alexandrine

Hello I haven't been on this site for a while since the death of one of my ringnecks, Percy, but I was recently given a new baby ringneck and just got an alexandrine yesterday. They have both been handraised and were obviously bonded with their previous owners, so I am having trouble getting them to...

I suspect the same thing. My bird that I suspect is male, dances and feeds my other bird who I think is female. I would think they would know. I hope so anyway :D

One of my IRNs may have eaten some nurofen. I woke up to find it with the pack in its claw and one tablet on the couch with the end missing. I can't find any info on the net about effects on birds. I overloaded it with water in the shower so it doesn't dehydrate. Any other thoughts on what to do? It...

I am a prep teacher and the class decided to get a pet, and chose a bird. I had all of the accessories and cage already and all I needed was the bird. Miss Kaos there were crocs swimming the streets. But they are in the water ways up here anyway. We had snakes in the house and that was bad enough. The crocs were seen in new housing estates.

Good news for us today- insurance guy just came and everything will be replaced.

Not sure if anyone else does, but I live in Mackay, QLD and we have just had a flood. My birds were fine, they were nice and dry inside and spent most of the day sleeping. Here are some pics from my place. The bird cage you can see in one pic is a spare - I didn't have the birds outside. http://i186...

I went out with my fiance to a nice restaurant last night and came home to find my laptop ruined, and two ringnecks sitting on it, both on one foot and holding a keyboard key it the other, chewing it!
