How is your baby doing? Any open wound is worrisome -- hope all goes well & the vet gives your little one something to ease the discomfort

interesting ..... Gelly's ring has become much more defined, but is mostly white. From Jay's photos, I am guessing she is a girl after all. Seems like she has been awfully aggressive and noisy lately, but it may just be that she is not competing with the dozen finches and dozen budgies, and I never ...

maybe it is the phase of the moon or something...... I swear Gelly looks like she is getting a ring and I am torturing the poor baby taking picture (which are all fuzzy and vague. As if she wasn't grumpy enough from being trekked across half the state.

No question about it! Mine has been gone since 1975 and I can still hear her telling me to sit up straight, don't mumble, etc (and I mind). Worse yet, now she comes out of my mouth when I least expect it!

Welcome! Your budgies are lovely and we will look forward to your IRN-to-be. Love the window aviary -- what size is the wire; I am guessing it is the camera angle, but looks like a clever budgie might try to escape?

How is your cage supported? Low tech solution....if it is on a stand, put the legs in cans full of water -- makes a little mini moat that the ants cannot cross. Just be sure no part of the cage or stand touches a wall, cord, etc and you have a nice little sanctuary. (old Girl Scout camp counselor tr...

Gelly likes to flap her wings and make a mess for no particular reason that I can tell. The tiels do it all the time, but she just does it now & again. Always just figured she was blowing off steam -- doesn't seem grumpy or upset before or after these little "explosions"

There are a million reasons not to get a job -- my cynical soul always guesses it was already promised to someone and they had to interview anyway. Don't take it personally.....at least you got some new clothes out of it <ROFL> Next time will go better!

I use Zupreem -- mostly fruit blend, some garden....is it garden goodness... the one with the peppers. The tiels and IRN like it, so I stopped checking brands while I was ahead. Of course they disagree about the banana shapes -- one cage of tiels won't eat those and the other won't eat the red ones....
