Ok good to know! I was getting worried this may go on for several more months! I shall gradually lessen the amount she gets at night and see how that goes :)

5ish month old Indian ringneck

Ok I have a handfeeding question, I have been handfeeding her since about 4 weeks old, and everything I have read has said to drop a feeding when they lose interest, so she has dropped all feedings except nighttime....and I don't want to force her to stop handfeeding but to me, it seems like at 5 mo...

I just brought the little guy/girl home yesterday! Awesome! Thanks for all your guys' help! So it looks like everyone agrees that the lacewings are girls. I was hoping for a make bird, but I guess te gender doesn't seem to matter much, at least from what I have read. I shall try and post some pics of the birds if I can when I get to a computer. Now ...

Hello, I am terribly awful about trying to figure out anything that has to do with genetics! I am getting my first ringneck chick pretty soon, and the breeder I am getting my baby from did not have this clutch DNA tested... I was wondering, is it possible to figure out if the chicks are male/female ...
