can u use egg food because im in england and cant find that kaytees

can you tell me if i can take chicks awat from there mother without having to use a brooder if so at what age also how often do they have to be fed thankyou for all the help this site has given me.

do chicks at 3 weeks old after being taken away from there mother have to go into a brooder seeming as it is summer or can they be put into a plastic contioner like what they use for rats etc and whats the best food to hand rear them on i am in england thanks

My ringneck is sitting on 2 eggs and are due to hatch next saturday please can someone give me some advice on what to do and when is the best time to take them away and do i put some different food out for the chicks while there still with there mother.
