There arent any topics worth replying to currently - hence the little posting from me and I suspect from others too. It's pretty simple really - nothing to post about, no posts LOL BB met my parents - like all birds decided to attack dad - birds hate him for some reason. Otherwise he has been fine. ...

1. keep you sessions short and happy - soon as you or he get frustrated - quit for the day 2. choose a behaviour you want to train and spend 5 minutes only on that. in all likelihood over time you will see other behaviour appear as you train one behaviour - thats when you capture 3. You are rewardin...

your buying a bird dog - the two in the room with the bird out of the cage is a no no if you dont want a dead bird IMO. instinct will kick in whether you like it or not. dont care what anyone else - something bred into a dog will come out. Earlier tonight my gsd was laying down and sneezed...BB lite...

your solution lies in theclicker +
get two
http://www.clickertraining.com/store/?item=traininggear
set one to click - the other to chirp or whistle or just use one and use the original clicker
here are a few articles on training too
http://www.clickertraining.com/allanimals
i hope youre weaning him off the clicker for every learned behaviour.

yea the gap on the other cage is 3/4 of an inch he has started to squeak since being in the new cage - I wonder if that has anything to do with the house change he is also eating chili's now - but is getting a little aggro with me so Im wondering if that has to do with new food types. I took the swi...

well I moved Jack to a smaller cage. I had him in that big cage I showed you all but its far too big - it will be ideal for an eccy or a cockatoo later but he was getting trapped here and there and though he loved the cage it was just that much too big so he is now in a 90cm X 50 X 50 cage - he frea...

I do german shepherd rescue - I know what its like to deal with an adult sized animal with the mindset of a 3 month old :p so being nipped doesnt particularly worry me - you get over that - or you wear gloves.
