Yes I'm in the UK, there has long been a Flock in the Southern end of the Country, I have also heard on the Radio that they have spread North as far as Sheffield, (get your Maps out). I remember seeing them in Barcelona on La Ramblas.

What is the Natural colour of an IRN or isnt there one, I know different colours come via crossing Birds, So guess this comes natural. So did different colours arise from different parts of their Homelands, North South East West. Then over time came together and mutated to give the colours.

My two also tried to bathe in the water bowl, I have a spray but they don't seem to happy with that method, so I got a large Ice Cream carton cut it down and now they stand in water upto their bellies and splash. This is the best way because I can then remove it and all the damp paper.

I have two and Clip both of their wigs, nither are 100% tame, will go on hand, shoulder and dont run away. But I take them outside and release them to roam the lawn and bushes. They are always out in the house when we are in, but as you know they would eat their way out if they where left unattended...

I think as they become more part of the family they will eat practicly anything you have, mine are a bit partial to the wall paper, doors, coving even a bit of fresh flesh now and again, :)

As I live in the UK this might be a bit of a long shot. When I clean the cage out I throw the waste and left over food on the steps for the local wild life. we have a cat that does not bother the IRNs, I would never leave them unatended whilst out, but its strange to see the cat walk straight past them as though they are not there. I will say he pricks his ears up if they Flap their wings, this must be the only thing that he relates them to being Birds.

Whats going off here, they are both on the same perch, he lifts his left foot up and down a couple of times, then it seems as he is feeding her, they did this about 4 - 5 times, if I had my camera it would be easier to tell you.

it seems if mum and dad can eat it so can we. We used to have a cockatiel that would sit on your hand and try to eat the food before you put it in your mouth, if he lost he would bite your lips. These two just seem to walk up and take it.
