Rope toys- Safety aspect

i guys

just wondering exactly where does everyone stand when it comes to giving IRN's toys with ropes that they can chew and pull the actual threads on. Hope you guys know what i mean the rope toys that have fluffy exposed rope ends. Are they safe? :?

Hi this might help apparently and i quote "Ringnecks recognize color. Beware, they are terrified of RED, especially as a baby. Do not try to handle them while wearing red nail polish. The bird's eyes will flash and he will lunge and bite at your nails. Don't hang red toys in or near the cage. A...

Thanx i guess that makes more sense i know there are two schools of thought on wing clipping i just assumed that clipping left IRNS with barely any flight i hadn't considered that there were different severities of wing clipping

now i get thanx

Clipping wings necessity?

is it really necesary to clip a birds wings for taming the safety aspect i can understand and handle but can a ringneck still be tamed and form a bond with their owner if they have full flight feathers or is it simply just more difficult to handle if not clipped :?:

its not that, not many unis allow pets and i only have two unis that i know that if i went there i would be able to keep an IRN and give it the time it needs seeing as i wud commute from home. Should work out tho lol
