Thunderstorms definitely upset them. Here in Los Angeles, we have earthquakes. Pretty Girl feels the quake coming before I do, and screeches like crazy. She flies around the house and won't land until the shaking stops!

I don't care for avacados myself, and rarely eat chocolate, so we don't keep that stuff in the house. Peanut butter is good.

Thank goodness, she seems to be back to her normal feisty self. In fact, she looks better than I've seen her in a long time. Guess it was a combination of the vitamins, calcium and homeopathics that cured her. I will have to be careful to make sure she doesn't get run-down next time she moults.

The soybeans I buy are raw frozen. I buy it at the supermarket (frozen shelled Edamame) frozen foods section. I steam enough for a couple of days & keep in the fridge. Actually, I like to eat it myself, too.

Puffed rice is good because it has no sugar added. Rice Krispies in milk, corn flakes, any unsugared cereal is fine. PeeGee also likes Chex cereal or granola, as long as it's in the milk.

Edamame (soybeans). I buy frozen edamame and steam them for 3 minutes in the microwave. They are full of protein and PeeGee loves them. You don't have to feed them a lot, just a teaspoon or so per day.
