I'm not overly concerned as I've only seen it a Few times and other than this he seems to be very healthy and is growing into a great pet (almost 1yr old). But just wondering ...

Re: Well, my good luck may be over

Just remember to try not to respond to her whistling or shrieking for attention when u leave the room or this could lead to a terrible screeching problem. When u leave the room and she starts calling to u, wait until she stops for a couple minutes and then come in and perhaps give her a reward and a...

Re: IRN or alexandrine

I'm not sure where you are from, but in Australia IRN are alot cheaper at about $200 a hand-reared baby, compared to the Alexandrine which would cost more like $450. As fieldz said the Alexandrine's are slightly bigger however I beleive IRN's are easier to come across in mutated colours(blue, yellow...

Re: First IRN

Thanks Imran for the reply, it was actually a long process between me ordering my baby bird and getting it, which was why i was able to do so much research. The first bird the breeder had set aside for me was a blue male which went a bit hand shy so they put it out in the aviary to become a breeder,...
