Knocking tonight again.. up until 45 minutes ago.. So i then go downstairs and open the nest box to peek and she killed him!! WHY? and could this have been prevented or was it inevitable? They have been a bonded pair for a couple of years.. I feel horrible.. what happens if she lays eggs in the next...
what is this knocking all about? constantly by the male I beklieve./. Also when I looked in the box all shavings have been shoved to side.. Do I need more of something else maybe? are these signs of getting near time? These birds are very flighty back and forth(the male) in and out of nest box..Help...
