Re: ringneck breeding
Hey Jaydedahl, I've had some of the same trouble when I first got my pair, they pecked each other quite a bit at first. My cage was split horizontally at first, as he was a baby, as he got older he would nip her feet thru the cage and she would aim and poo on him (was actually funny sometimes) i eve...

Re: Baby biting absolutely everything for seemingly no reason
Hey Jennbird, That is definitely a tough situation. Maybe try some chewing/grinding toys? a beak is basically a birds communication and main hand, as well as the feet are, so providing a lot of chew-able toys (if you cannot afford them, toilet paper roll cardboard insert -after roll is finished- is ...

Re: Odd (maybe?) behaviors
Hey Shanc21, I'm new to this site but have owned my birdies for 6 yrs now, the female was originally an breeders spare offspring he couldn't sell. She was in a outdoor cage( 20 birds in 3m x 1m), limited cover, competition of food, no perches or toys and no handling. She was 3 then, 8 now. Because o...

First eggs. Have questions about care..
Female Zoey - 6 yo gray, just laid 2 eggs, I expect only one more. Shes first timer and untamed and not very social towards the male, not sure if she would do well taking care of eggs. Only just spotted this as I was showing my real estate agent the birds and noticed Zoey's rear end puckering very n...
