social bird

The past few days Rosie has become super social. She is 3 1/2 months old and she wants on me all the time. she sits on me and tweets. I walk past her playgym and she stretches her neck for me. If I stand close enough she will grab my shirt and climb on. She even its on my head and preens. Who said R...

weird thing Rosie does

I think, my little lady is doing mating behavior at my husband. She crouches down lowers head then tips it upwards while tweeting softly. She steps up on him and climbs to his shoulder with no problem. If my husband is in another room and she hears him talk she does the same behavior. She seems to g...

Tiny squeek

My 13 wk old lady gives my husband this little tiny squeak every time he talks to her. she opens her beak big and gives a short tiny squeak. She does not do it to anyone else. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is this a good thing?

Re: propr way to react.

Ok I get that, and it makes sense but what about lunging or biting. My lady has not bite hard just beaks when she lunges but I dont want to mistreat her behavior. She is my first IRN so I don't know how to best teach her what is unacceptable.

propr way to react.

I understand the reasons behind "bluffing" but what is the best way to "discipline" bad behavior. I am rewarding good behavior. treats when she steps up or lets my tickle her tummy. What is the best way to treat bad or unwanted behavior. My baby is 12 weeks old and has been hand ...
