Re: G'day G'day
Hello Jess :) My sleeping cage is 16'x16' and fits well on a side table or dresser. It's big enough for two perches and a couple of small toys. I have a 5 year old and he adores our IRN the only thing I've found is that he does better with me doing the handling and him interacting with the bird on h...

Re: New Baby
Still loving this guy. He is comfortable stepping up, taking treats and hanging out out side of his cage with the entire family. He spent the morning calling to the birds out side the window and sharing fruit with the kids. Doing my hardest night to rush things but he seems to want to be apart of th...

New Baby
I brought this little guy home this morning. So far so good. Already playing, eating and wanting attention. Not sure what to name him yet but I know it will come to me in a few days.
Does that light ring around his neck mean anything at all or is it just teasing me?

Re: Sleeping Cage
He will spend most of his time out hanging with us, on several play areas or in a larger cage in the living/dining area. Most of my other birds have been larger, much less energetic and had much shorter tails so I'm not sure what is appropriate for IRN.
What is a good minimum height for a cage?

Re: Hello.
Thank you for your reply :D I was told by the man male. I was skeptical because of what I had read but there was a language barrier so I couldn't ask why he believed he knew the gender. At this point gender only matters for naming as I think both genders are lovely. I'm just hoping for a sweet bird....
